We’ll make sure to update this list as the series goes on, just in case Disney airs more of the episodes out of order. This will add new layers of depth to the characters and how they’ve evolved so much even in a two season run. Since it was aired out of order, fans can now go back and appreciate the entire run of the show the way it was intended to be seen.

Thankfully co-executive producer Francisco Angones provided an official viewing order for the first two seasons of DuckTales! This is an invaluable resource, even for those who’ve been watching the show from the beginning.

If you’re just watching an episode a week it’s easy enough to miss some of the smaller details but while marathoning some things will begin not to make any sense. With the show now out of order on Disney+ it throws off the carefully laid plans of the shows writers and just doesn’t work as well, especially if it’s being marathoned. A lot of Webby episodes were front loaded and this gave a bit of a false notion that she was the main character of the series when it was much more of an ensemble. There’s also multiple characters running throughout the first season that don’t work quite as well, even in the original air-date order. The multi-layered mystery of whatever happened to Huey, Dewey, and Louie’s mother was carefully crafted to evolve over the season and it needs to be watched in order to be fully appreciated. This is especially true for the first season, which was even aired out of its intended order in its first run. Since DuckTales is heavily serialized, this totally ruins the intentions of the people behind the show. DuckTales is finally easy to watch for everyone! There’s just one problem though, the entire series was uploaded to the Disney+ streaming service out of order. The show has been a little difficult to watch unless you had cable but now it’s finally all streaming on Disney+! No more long breaks between episodes! You can watch the show as fast or as slow as you want. It’s a treat for anyone who loves animation, Disney, or just great television. Whip-smart writing, deep characters, bonkers world building, and endless Disney references. Soaring past even the highest of expectations, the remake of the classic ’80s animated series has become one of our favorite series here at Den of Geek. Have you heard? The new DuckTales series is absolutely incredible.
